PARTS UNKNOWN is a group art show celebrating the symbolic, signaling, informative, heraldic and communicative nature of flags. Organized by Trifecta Editions and Brian Butler and hosted at Aviary in Jamaica Plain, MA from October – November 2016.

Parts Unknown will feature original flags and companion artworks by 21 artists from across the globe, all of whom have ties to Boston. Each artist was invited to fabricate their own flag and compliment it with a descriptive design, to be made into screen printed multiples by Trifecta Editions.
